Principal's Message

Cheri Leavitt

Congratulations to our boys’ soccer team for their amazing season and making it all the way to the Final Four.

As we are getting closer to the end of the first quarter, if you find that your child needs additional assistance, please have your child take advantage of our free after school tutoring every Tuesday and Thursday. Students receive a snack when they stay after school.

We have specific ESOL tutoring also on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students will receive assistance with ELA.

We do not have Boys and Girls Club this Thursday.

This week, we have a long Wednesday and no school Friday. We do have school on Thursday.

Pennies for Patients will run from September 30th to November 1st. Students can bring in loose change to 3rd period classes. The class with the most collected will win Olive Garden! All proceeds go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Saturday School occurs every weekend with the exception of holiday and three-day weekends. This is a great opportunity for students to preview material they will be learning the following week.

8th Grade students will be going on a field trip to the Bob Carr Theater to see the play "The Giver on November 20th from 9:30 – 1:00. Permission slips were handed out in Language Arts classes and are due no later than November 8th. Please turn them back in to your ELA teachers. All 8th graders are invited to attend. Chaperones are needed! Please sign up with Additions at the following link and register with our event:
