Principal’s Message

A woman with dark hair smiles, wearing a black blazer and a decorative necklace.

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at Freedom Middle School! I am honored to serve as your Principal and excited to lead a school community full of talented educators, dedicated staff, and amazing students. Whether you’re returning or joining us for the first time, we’re so glad you’re here.

This year, we are proud to celebrate our continued growth—Freedom Middle improved from a C to a B school grade last year, and that’s a win worth celebrating! It’s a reflection of the hard work, commitment, and heart that every member of our Panther family brings to the table. Let’s keep that momentum going!

Our theme this year is:

Rebuild. Reconnect. Reignite.

As we move forward, our focus will be on:

Strengthening relationships
Reinforcing our shared commitment to high expectations
Recommitting to consistent, student-centered instruction
Building lasting traditions that reflect our pride and Panther identity
We believe that every Panther has a place, and we are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and empowering environment for all students and staff.

Let’s make this year unforgettable as we continue to soar to new heights—together.

With Panther Pride,

Dr. Stephanie Jackson

Principal, Freedom Middle School
